Hi!
I'm Jacqueline Branson

Hello Beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by.
I'm a trauma-informed creative wellbeing coach supporting women over 40 through life's transitions.
I'm also a mother of three, tea addict, amateur photographer and someone who dances to anything (yes, even the supermarket playlist) I've learned to appreciate and embrace my inner child.
Most importantly, I'm someone who understands what it feels like to lose yourself in service to others, and I've found the way back.

What's in a Name!
I called my practice 'HereForMe' because I had given up too much of myself to others through one transition after another.
I had sacrificed everything when I became a mother, wife, tutor, home educator and caregiver. My body was crying out for my attention and I almost broke before I heard.
I decided to be HereForMe, for a change - realising it's better to serve from a full and overflowing cup than an empty, cracked vessel.
Does my story resonate with yours? I'd love to hear about your journey.

Once Upon A Time
At fourteen, a teacher told me I was "absolutely useless" and "could never do anything right" - all because I couldn't draw "simple lines." For thirty years, I carried those words in my bones.
Then my six-year-old asked me to draw with him. In that moment, I had a choice: pass on those limiting beliefs or pick up the pencil anyway.
I chose the pencil.
I've been drawing twigs for ten years - those same "simple" objects I couldn't draw in that classroom.
What started as personal healing became my professional calling, understanding how creativity transforms trauma and how the right supportive environment can make all the difference.

The Training Behind The Trust
After my own journey trauma to creative healing, I realised that lived experience alone wasn't enough to support others. The women who share their stories with me deserve someone who understands not just the heart o this work, but science that backs it up.
Every qualification I've earned represents another layer o understanding about how we heal, how we grow, and most importantly, how we can support each other through life's most tender transitions.

The Breakthrough Moment That Changed Everything
During one workshop, an 86-year-old participant arrived and upon seeing the creative materials, immediately wanted to leave. She became distressed stating: "If I had known it was going to be craft, I wouldn't have come... Can I go home?"
Instead of persuading her to stay, I offered validation and choice: "I understand what it's like to feel uncomfortable about something you hadn't known about or prepared for. It's okay if you want to go home."
She wrote extensively, encouraged other participants, and engaged in meaningful conversation.
This is trauma-informed practice in action - recognising that real healing happens when people are met where they are, when they feel genuinely safe and supported.
This is how I work - meeting you exactly where you are, with no pressure to be anywhere else.
Ready to experience this for yourself?
What I Believe
Creativity is your birthright: You don't need to be "artistic" to benefit from creative practices. Your creativity is as unique as your fingerprint.
Healing happens in community: While your journey is deeply personal, it needn't be lonely. There's profound power in being witnessed by others who understand.
Your story matters: Every transition, every challenge, every moment of beauty you've experienced has value. Creative practices help us honour and integrate these experiences.
Gentleness is revolutionary: In a world that often demands we push through, there's radical power in approaching ourselves with tenderness.
