Jacqueline Branson | Trauma-Informed | Creative Wellbeing Coach

Hi!

I'm Jacqueline Branson

Hello Beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by.

I'm a trauma-informed creative wellbeing coach supporting women over 40 through life's transitions.

I'm also a mother of three, tea addict, and amateur photographer who's learned to appreciate my inner child. I guide women to rediscover themselves through accessible, mindful creative practices.

What's in a Name!

I called my practice 'Here For Me' because I had given up too much of myself to others through one transition after another.

I had sacrificed everything when I became a mother, wife, tutor, home educator and caregiver. My body was crying out for my attention and I almost broke before I heard.

I decided to be Here For Me, for a change - realising it's better to serve from a full and overflowing cup than an empty, cracked vessel.

My Story: From Crisis to Calling

For years, I poured myself into caring for others—as many of us do. But somewhere along the way, I realised I'd lost touch with parts of myself that once brought me joy.

Creative practices had always been my quiet companions: journalling to make sense of difficult days, photography to capture fleeting beauty, the meditative rhythm of stitching fabric together.

When I began weaving these practices into my wellbeing work, something magical happened. I watched women who believed they "weren't creative" light up as they discovered their own unique ways of expressing what words couldn't capture.

From Personal Practice to
Professional Purpose

Through Carers First, I've shared these practices with 58 women, witnessing remarkable transformations.

An 86-year-old rediscovered her voice through journalling. Stressed carers found peace through simple creative exercises. Women who felt invisible began to see themselves again.

This experience, combined with my professional training, shapes my unique approach to creative wellbeing.

What I Believe

Creativity is your birthright: You don't need to be "artistic" to benefit from creative practices. Your creativity is as unique as your fingerprint.

Healing happens in community: While your journey is deeply personal, it needn't be lonely. There's profound power in being witnessed by others who understand.

Your story matters: Every transition, every challenge, every moment of beauty you've experienced has value. Creative practices help us honour and integrate these experiences.

Gentleness is revolutionary: In a world that often demands we push through, there's radical power in approaching ourselves with tenderness.
